I've already got Black Arthur at some great prices and he's a bit too short now to add more. And then Marinaresco is drifting like he's lost a leg so I'm gonna take some of the 16/1 - 18/1 on offer and that's about it for me.

Bad luck to the connections of Elusive Silva and any that backed it

Very exciting for the owners of Horizon who I thought ran a fair race last time and possibly is fated to do well here with the sudden inclusion.

Elusive Silva will miss the rest of the season and most of next season too. Justin Snaith said: “He stumbled badly on a cut-up bit of track, injured himself and will be out for a year.” The former champion trainer has long been opposed to public gallops before the July. He said: “I didn’t want to gallop Elusive Silva. He didn’t need a gallop, and what happened to him is the reason I don’t like them.”

Shame...really feel for his connections :(

What are the point of the gallops anyway. All the runners are racing fit none are coming off rests and most of them do not do more than a half pace gallop. I suppose they need to get rid of the sticky buns somewhere.

Maybe get the trainers to gallop, say 100m race, and then participate in a panel discussion on their entrants wellbeing and chances. The sticky buns will never go to waste :woohoo:
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
