Was looking for some outright Cape Town 7's betting and went to the Betting World site to compare prices (I know, what was I thinking!)
I was absolutely shocked to find the this crowd of shysters is, after the conclusion of day 1 where half the teams have been relegated from the Cup competition into the lesser half of the tournament, offering outright betting on EVERY team on the event.
This is is absolutely disgraceful!
Betting World are blatantly trying to rip off the public who may be unaware that 8 of the teams that they have priced up currently on their website CANNOT win the Cape Town 7's. If someone fancies the 16/1 Australia on the BW site or shops, they will lay it (Australia can finish best placed 9th)
And before anyone says that this may be an 'innocent mistake' they have adjusted the betting after day 1 and the Boks are best priced 7/10 everywhere, including BW. None of the other firms are doing this - they all have betting for the 8 remaining teams only
This is utterly disgraceful from
An utterly disgraceful company
The Gambling Board should penalize them for such practices

Betting World in Centurion (Doringkloof Mall) must be the worst betting outlet I've visited. The TV's haven't worked for the past 2 days. If you are lucky, the aircons are functional on that day.

I personally would feel a little embarrassed to advertise this...

It's 09.40 & I don't see any betting out for the VAAL today. Is it just me being Stupid ? or is that a fact.

Went to collect a winning tote ticket at kempton park bookmaker's after vaal racing today. Noticed that BETTINGWORLD world are no longer there. They have moved to tembisa taxi rank so the sign says.
So that leaves this betting outlet with the tote plus 1 bookmaker - Clinton Lines.
Does not bode well for bettingworld. As can be read above, they are not a lot of happy campers.

My goodness, a taxi rank as a marketing strategy for customers' aspirations.

They seem to be on a big marketing drive down here in the Cape next week. According to the Compitaform they are Broadcasting live in some of their branches here next week. I wish them the worst of luck, I really do
I had to laugh when it said in the Computaform that if you turn up to their Kenilworth branch on Thursday night, they 'will lay a big strike'
Right then, I will get my R50 ready...
