Not sure why ......only 2 horses had the FORM to be short priced ,and both won!

I'm rarely sure why either Rob, if people don't like Bingo, stay away, simple :)

And yes, of course, I know that is not what you meant lol

This is too short for Crowd Pleaser but he has run 2nd over 7 furlong to Grade 1 placed Misty Birnam and running fresh could do the trick and his class may just pull him through. Nibbled @ 28/10

The problem is that Flamingo has already got a lot of people "staying away" and seeing as they are stand alone meetings they constitute 14% of a weeks racing ......I'm not sure that "staying away " is whats best for the industry!

Rob, not being funny or rude but I'm not really in the mood for a light-hearted tongue-in-cheek comment to be turned into a serious discussion on the pros n cons of Bingo :) It is quite evident from the weekly threads that you and others are no great fans and, even though it is rare these days for me personally to have a losing day at Bingo, I have some sympathy for those feelings (though I think they are often exaggerated and unfair, especially when compared to results elsewhere too blah blah blah). If it closes I shant cry. If they close Greyville on the other hand I might go out for a celebratory drink or 10! :).

How can a horse go from 4-10 out to 2-1 without someone knowing something?

To be fair, the trainer came on here and let everybody know that this had not seen the grass in 3 months

Sure Frodo but he still thought her class could pull her through yet the bookies drifted her out to 5 times her price. They knew more than the trainer and as for the ride, top weight and maybe not fully fit and you go so fast, just doesn't make sense.

Durbs, Louis didn't price the horse up. Not being clever but I wasn't convinced the horse would win before LG's comments but with those, the weight and that draw it would take a brave man imo to back the horse at those odds. Big drift I agree but it is not the first time that has happened and punters were fortunate imo that this time the trainer advised at least some caution.
