6 odds-on shots in 8 races = says it all - or does it?
R1: Brookie finished better last time with the blinkers, but much too short in the betting imo - yes he faces a moderate lot, but not one I would stake my house on, Reminicence (if he puts his best foot forward) and Sundance (tries blinkers) upset material
R2: Myfunnyvalentine obviously the one to beat, but Hollie Point is now better off at the weights and could make her run - also South Atlantict looks a very nice sort (beat Runalong in the maidens - who won 4 on the trot after that); then we have the two at the bottom of the weights who could be much better than rated - again more open than it first appears
R3: Ektifaa looks to have this at her mercy, but also very short in the betting; De Nimes does return after a long break, but the KZN form does not too bad; Chinese Whisper looks very moderate but is in form and should place; Striker takes the ride on the ex-Cape runner Juba, so stable must be confident ?
R4: Hallucination another odds-on shot who looks too short in the betting imo - should improve and has an obvious chance, but did not finish that far in front of Cool Escape last time and Prada Princess could also be better over the 1600 and imo will make the favorite work hard
R5: Much talked about Querari Viking makes his return for the new connections - basically a winner taking on maidens, but finished behind Sabre Dance before, so another whose price looks too short; also Bay Style on straight from could finish in front of the favorite - these 3 stand out imo
R6: First handicap and plenty with chances; Crowd Pleaser look very capable, but may need further to show his best, A Greater Power returns after a break and does not have the best of draws; Street Flyer, Cherokee Grey. Woza Madoda and Black Cossack
(a winner this trip) should be competitive as well
R7: Effortless Reward the obvious one, big weight and may need the run slightly - danger could be Play Date who will be receiving chunks of weight from the favorite
r8: Open handicap to close; Star Effort looks well in here with Aqua Blue, but many others with chances
Enjoy

why would anyone take 5/10 Querari falcon when Sabre has it beat on form - surely to take 5to10 you must percieve there are no dangers - brain dead in my opinion - Lerena horse the value show them Gav

Small go South Atlantic 11/2 - I backed Runalong 3 out of her subsequent 4 wins so no harm here in chancing South Atlantic. May be a tad short but at the prices, worth a go.

Nespresso is a horse I always play when it runs and I think I will make some tom for myself for it to place and Aristocrat to place/win as well.

Thanks Frodo
It's 20/1 for all the hotties to arrive sounds silly now unless u get to the last one.
Then put the lot on Strydom ew at 7/1 win and "quarter odds place first 4"
With Sportingbet

There is nothing certain in racing but to answer the question......QV ran to a 69 (to SD's 71)after 4 month layoff, when they met............next run upped his game to an 86 and SD next run was a 59!!!!!.........suggests no contest.
(the one concern is change of stable ....can unsettle some horses(Lazer Star an eg))

QV's price is definitely too short but I would analyse the collateral form with SD further. That day QV was returning from a break. Also, there must have been a strong head wind or the that Dromedaris race was run very slow. QV's race time in that race was 3 seconds slower than his (winning)last run and SD ran 2.5 seconds slower than his previous c&d run.

The AD boys looking for tom saying that he will win four. My middle finger is upped from the morning. (Sorry for the language especially when I'm miffed with their persistence. Not my money today for FA)
