Good for them.
Who pays for the costs? I hope that it is the Jockey Club.

I wonder if the 3 who had a lot to say Kyriakou , Jayes and Maselle on Sporting Post will be as vocal now maybe just admit that sometimes without all the facts we have lots to say.

Len I in no way am defending these guys however consider this -
The Jockey club come with a press release proclaiming the Shams guilt. Any reasonable person would accept that the authority in charge were impartial and had got their facts straight. Based on that press release, I and others commented.
Recently I commented on trainer Lowan Deneyschen's positives and in a similar vein to the Shams denounced the use of performance enhancing drugs. An explanation was then offered by one of that trainers patrons and I unreservedly apologised to the trainer for my previous comments. As I do now to the Shams. My point is WHO IS POLICING THE JOCKEY CLUB? They are clearly not beyond getting things wrong as they show us on a nauseatingly regular basis.
A suggestion to the not so wise. Perhaps you should publish NOTHING in the press until the entire process has run its course. In that way you can protect the people's integrity that you destroy with your incompetence.

Good on you Ota for apologizing the point is reputations and livelihood can be wiped out because things are said on a open forum without all the facts been taken into account...

Was there new evidence presented or was the case appealed hoping for a better adjudication of facts ?

How long does it take the board to release a press release? They were quick enough to fine and tarnish fol!
