SPORTINGBET "CASH OUT" South African 1st
9 years 9 months agoWHAT IS CASH OUT?
With Cash Out you no longer have to wait for your bet to finish to pocket your profit. Just choose the bet you want to “Cash Out” and you'll be paid the amount offered immediately regardless of your original selection.
This allows you to take a profit if your selection is doing well, or minimise any potential loss should you think the bet is unlikely to result in a win.
So if you are waiting on one more result to come in for the big win but don’t fancy your chances? Just choose the bet you want to Cash Out and you'll be paid amount offered immediately regardless of your original selection.
Cash Out offers are made in real time and your Cash Out offer will reflect live market prices.

What, with no "deduction" applicable, considering there may a leg or more still to run/play out? Sounds too good to be true, but a nice innovation however there must be a catch somewhere? Would like to read the rules though.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Wow what an innovative idea. Bayern i would imagine the deduction that will apply is for legs/leg that is still to run aside from the normal tax that applies.

I was also thinking along those lines, a sort of cancellation penalty before the application of the standard tax.

Lol Bayern ,you are a cynic like me........................would also like to read the rules and also that any long term or multiple bets has the "cash out" option guaranteed (ie if you back a side to win the premier league now and it shortens dramatically by March ,you don't want to find the option has been discontinued!)
.....................otherwise its a great innovation as it introduces the ability to trade!

I`ve used cash out a few times on UK websites ,it gives you an option to take a profit... like with 15 minutes to play and your atc is winning you may get offered 60% of the payout for example

Bookmakers create bets that suit bookmakers, not punters.
Don't kid yourself that this is a favorable opportunity.

Huchergh is correct imo... it can be useful but as Bob can tell you, it has caused me no end of stress deciding sometimes! If you get it right, great, if you get it wrong and it costs you a big win, it can feel like a big loss rather than a win. The "consolation" being offered as a cash out, as H says, will not be in the punter's favour based on the "chance", bookies of course offer you nothing which favours the punter!
