Not sure who touched the ball last Bob but it all came down to the through in at the line out. All the had to do was through to the front off the line out and secure the ball. I honestly was hoping for a upset in this game and it all came down to a stuff up in the last minute. Actually had a bet on the Scotts @+8 but it would have been sweet if they won.

Craig certainly more happy to give a penalty in dying minutes than in 2011.. Craig "leave it Richie" Joubert, never disappoints..

Guys guys guys
Wales were the better side against the Bok and Scot were seconds away from beating the Workd Cup winners, not all gloom
Yes England and France are on par with Namibia, but Scot, Ire and Wales are ok

Handicaps for semi finals
New Zealand -7.5 vs SA
Australia -6.5 vs Argentina
Any thoughts?
Wouldn't it be nice to have a SA/Argentina final :woohoo:

I am hearing that Craig J missed his flight and is MIA ! Please refrain from eating haggis from your local supplier, well at least until all the DNA testing is completed. :silly:

The ref is getting slaughtered,is he really that good?
Australia vs Scotland: Referee Craig Joubert sprints off the pitch and faces the wrath of Twitter rugby fans
String of questionable decisions sees tension build to breaking point in Rugby World Cup quarter-final - and Twitter explodes when the South African referee sprints off at the final whistle
Rugby World Cup referee Craig Joubert has roused the ire of rugby union fans after he capped a performance of debatable quality in the Australia-Scotland quarter-final by sprinting off the pitch at the end.
Jourbert's decision to hot-foot it from the field without so much as a by-your-leave, let alone a handshake for either captain, has been roundly condemned - not least by the BBC pundit team covering the game live.
Matt Dawson said Joubert's actions were 'disrespectful' and 'despicable', while probably the strongest condemnation of all came from former Scottish international Gavin Hastings.
"That is the worst thing I have seen on a rugby field in a long time,” Hastings told BBC Radio 5 live. “He is not prepared to face up to the players.
"That is not the spirit of rugby. He should be sent home tomorrow and he should not be allowed to make an international rugby commitment again.”
Joubert was already in the bad books of Scotland fans after an apparently harsh yellow card early in the second-half for Sean Maitland, based on TMO evidence.
This was compounded by the controversial award of the last-minute, match-winning penalty that put Australia up 35-34, despite many fans calling for Joubert to refer to the TMO
The general public reflected even less favourably on Joubert's decision, though there has been speculation that Joubert was fleeing an object or objects being thrown at him.
It should also be clarified that it had started to rain at Twickenham in the final 10 minutes of the game. The referee may well have had fears of catching a bit of a chill and nobody wants that, particularly at this time of the year.
It's largely conjecture at this point, until somebody can pin down the man of the moment. As Twitter can testify, though, there are many irate people the length and breadth of the country that have promised to keep an eye out for maligned match official.
Meanwhile, the internet has already begun to carry out its revenge on the perceived injustice of Joubert's conduct.
There is a petition already doing the rounds to ban Joubert from ever entering Scotland.
And, of course, Joubert's Wikipedia page has been on the receiving end of some Scottish embellishment.
The Australians have weighed in, trying to change the subject - but fans are having none of it.
