July fancies and betting

Not sure if you have any early fancies?
Probably a bit dangerous with a few grey areas but I notice on sporting bet
5/2 the Snaith horses
5/1 the MDK pair and LTK also at 5/1
Any early thoughts or comments can't see any value at this stage but Futura at 5/2 could be the one if others drop out?

Dave, see no value at those Sportingbet prices. Would go as far as saying those prices are shocking. With not knowing who will still be in SA come the 4th July it is very risky backing anything at this stage.
French Navy, who is not on the list seems to be coming along the right way and with the Classic win would get into the July. That would be my early selection. If Futura runs I believe what ever beats him wins.

At least the Derby and Oaks in Gauteng must be run first before pricing up - Often major pointers to 3yr olds - Sit on your hands

I think that there is nothing wrong with ante post markets and agree prices poor but if you knew Eg that legislate and Majmu ain't running LTK (don't fancy) 5/2 might be ok for Futura (possibly start odds on)
However good punting

I agree Dave, love an antepost punt, but not at these odds.

French Navy looks a likely winner, have been following him throughout his career and he has the credentials to win the big one, the danger to him could come from the stable in sirens call..she seems a super filly who keeps improving all the time

In a season where we have multiple Male classic winners I would not be rushing out to back them to beat their elders - Weak crop of three-year-old colts and I'd rather go with the fillies if I really had to.

I said last year that Jayyed is my July horse, just hope he races again this year and that his breathing problem is sorted out, maybe they'll take him straight to KZN.. Hope so! Wonder what I'll get on him antepost..
When you running with the big dogs, u can't piss like a puppy..
