Some nice competitive racing come Saturday. I will be playing a patent on the following:
Race 5: 3 Smart Call, comes off two excellent runs out of the maidens behind two top 3 year old fillies. She has Ataab held on the run behind Siren's Call and will jump from a plumb draw of 2. The 7/1 available on her looks fantastic and a repeat of her last two starts will see her in the winners box.
Race 6: 16 Siren's Call, I am of the opinion that we have a very special crop of 3 year old fillies this year. On Siren's Call last run on LBH she would have beaten Harry's Son by 3 lengths and would be 1,5kg's worse off on that run. She finished 400 to finish quicker than Jayyed that day. Sean Tarry wouldn't run her in this race if he didn't feel she could beat the boys (like Carry On Alice). Unfortunately the very generous 9/1 Hollywood had earlier in the week is gone but she still looks great value at the 6/1 avaialble.
Race 10: 10 Bravo Mayo, won a fantastic race under sufferance last time out beating some top fillies. She received her maximum penalty of 6 points pushing her up to an 84. On her last run I rated her a 99. On that run she is very well weighted on Saturday. She does take on the boys but she looks to have made significant improvement after her rest and looks to be coming to hand nicely. I make her a massive runner and is my best bet for the day. 7/1 on her looks a steal.
Play well and enjoy.

My place play and perhaps even E/w is AMAZING STRIKE in the Dingaans (I have the feeling the hard 1600m in the soft will suite him as I think he may turn out to be a Derby contender as his sire WILL produce Classic staying types)

As long as they run I'm happy, I don't think we'll get thru the full card, but atleast get the main race done, soft ground puts the cat amongst the pigeons.. P6 will pay bombs
