would like to have seen Majmu in the 8th
I also think they have got the Favourites wrong in the 8th,the 1600m Perfect for Pine Princess especially if they go a decent pace

Also think Goosens One Mans Dream has a big e/w chance from the wide draw

The betting on most of the races is so open, all to come place bets seems the way to go on the day. Having said that, I'm hoping the following do win :-
R2 - Kalanchoe (7/2) - fair enough debut over 1200m, appeared to be running on, so I'm hoping the extra 200m coupled with a good draw is what she is looking for.
R5 - Tamaanee (6/1) - being a one time winner is definitely out at the weights with the multiple winners in the race. Also appeared to be running on in her last start, having only had three runs, I think she's the one who could show the most improvement.
R10 - Rushmore River (13/2) - has run against stronger than he takes on. He's two wins have come over the distance, think he'll outstay this field racing handy.
My lurker for the day is Supreme Sunset (16/1) in R8. This horse's third and second last runs were in WFA races where she was badly out at the weights however finished a close up 4th and won. Her last run she was drawn extremely wide and pulled hard, that was her second run after a rest as well. I think she is well in here with the two fancied three year olds. The danger for me is Arcetri Pink.
In the main race, I do have an ante post ticket on As You Like, hoping for the best.
Looking forward to being on course on Saturday, look forward to meeting some Clanners.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Race 4 - Trip to heaven @5/1. Going to smash the field in imho. Loves the course and distance will suit perfectly. Other than my not so favorite jockey this one should win.

TML, there are quite a few dodgy favourites on the card, I think Trip To Heaven is one of them. Can this horse really be a MR 101 after one win? Even if it is a MR 101, it is still out at the weights by 1.5kgs against some decent hard knocking sprinters. For me the value in the race lies with Snowdon (11/1), who's MR has dropped and should be very competitive carrying 55.5kgs. However if you convinced Trip To Heaven is the right one, wait for time of race, it should start bigger than the current odds.

No disrespect to you TML but the last bit of yours sounded like a death knell Bayern lol

If FFC travels well and handles the altitude, at the weights he should beat both Showmetheway and Kingston Boy. He is well and with 52.5kgs will make the field gallop!

Bayern the number of wins has nothing to do with a horses merit rating rather it is who they have competed against and how they fared

There has been 9 runners from his maiden win and no winners, that was an extremely poor field. Then he incurs a 12 point penalty for running 3rd in a feature, that's harsh. I'd be very surprised if this horse runs in the first 4.
