Considering the Racing Manager is an Ex-Bookmaker(not sure if he still is) then yes as they painted a picture that he was a runner - A call to any Journo warning this may happen would not have cost much but It would have meant a great deal to punters and would surely have shown that the people that make Racing happen are actually worth something

Objections were overruled or not pursued, NHA handicappers claimed that the weights that were originally published were only a "working document" and that the weights which were later published were the correct ones. Apparently, the "working doc " should not have been published by nrb......:S
Anyway, the handicappers were involved again. Lets see what happens, with the NHA ' invitation' to members to make submissions on handicapping, what enfolds etc.
Definitely a false alarm, as their are absolutely no problems in racing from the handicappers side at all.
