I got a mail for Betxchange a few minutes ago saying Racing will no longer be broadcast on 239 on 27th and posting the link to TAB Gold site
The stream of South African racing directly from the track will enable you to see all the racing action, interviews, announcements and other footage, the International racing stream allows you to see all the races we offer betting on.
To have access to the stream, all you need to do is register with a valid email address.
This facility is restricted to users based in South Africa.
If you do not receive your password within 10 minutes of registering, please check your Spam/Junk folder.
Having problems? Call Betxchange Racing on (011) 712 4600 or email customercare@betxchange.co.za
I have not been watching 239 myself so I have no idea what Phum are advising their clients

The signal goes out if the lights don't...you will get to watch a black screen possibly with a message that channel has been discontinued or no longer available or etc...

I know that I may be one of the elder members using this Forum but I was under the impression that an alternative was being sourced?

Welcome to ICASA
The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) is the regulator for the South African communications, broadcasting and postal services sector. ICASA was established by an Act of statute, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa Act of 2000, as Amended.
ICASA's mandate is spelled out in the Electronic Communications Act for the licensing and regulation of electronic communications and broadcasting services, and by the Postal Services Act for the regulation of the postal sector.
Enabling legislation also empowers ICASA to monitor licensee compliance with license terms and conditions, develop regulations for the three sectors, plan and manage the radio frequency spectrum as well as protect consumers of these services.
Bob we have always been overly regulated in this regard with Radio stations such as 702 waiting decades to get an FM frequency - That's why I keep referring(and get NO ANSWER) about the legalities of a home decoder without ICASA approval
