as OWNERS can we charge Phumelela/Gold Circle

for using our horses images on websites and newspapers,magazines etc?


seemingly the operators claim they own the sole copyright to all images taken on course by ANYONE,including photographers and the public..

And we couldnt win it Hibs..... think of the repercussions..... stabling subsidised..... new stakes distribution rates..... a war with no winners, excepting those black hearts who want Racing to suffer.

What is this scottfreeracing ....?? Haha , you dudes banned them all !

how on earth can they control hundreds with their phones etc taking pics to go on facebook, youtube, etc? ARE they not meaning professional photographers supplying agencies for the press? Isn't that just what racing actually NEEDS to get some media exposure other than their own little circle that is called Tellytrack?

Don us sharing photos on here and facebook/twitter etc can only help promote racing..

Scoottfreeracing guys ( the big three in my books) - one thing about them is that they stood their ground (and still do) and their principles remain unchanged to this day. I vehemently opposed many of their views, time and time again, but I will never lose respect for them... at least they were consistent.

in fact, their ability to get media attention and attendance is so dismal, they should be PAYING photographers, appies, wannabe's, anyone, to take pics and share share share!! FFS, I can't decide whether to cry or laugh!!

hibby some one tell me be fore if you enter your horse in the race then you loose all the "comercial" rights to your own horse. now louis is very corect the operator can be punitive if you stick your head out and we see these be fore when trainers who owe the nom fee is not allowede to accept for races and also we see how phumelela are blatant in the victimisation of ian jayes. so what happen is simple the operator is rule by fear and every one is too scared to say any thing. when trainer speak out they get the hiding

i dont now these guys but here the lot about the trouble they cause, any way it dont seem they were so worry to change things in raceingbe cause they are now gone with out the trace. to me charl pretorius was the much bigger loss to raceing than these guys he had the lot more to offer than these guys

You can sue them hibernia coz they are stealing your pics and they do not have the ownership and or rigths to publish your pics.

They aren't gone without a trace, in fact they are making representation at the NHA meeting, which whether you agree with them or not is more than what most of bleeters anywhere else have done.
