Turffontein Race 3

For the uninitiated, and with all due respect to the sad events of the day, does anyone have an opinion on why it required the trainer to object, despite what I thought was blatant interference?

Did it ? I always thought the trainer of jock objected as well as the stipes , both hooters went quite soon apart

I thought both horses moved onto each other and it was a shocking decision to uphold the objection how ere that's only my opinion and as you know, opinions are like as$&les, everyone's got one!

HIBS pls clarify - The 1st hooter indicates a review of the patrol film. The 2nd that "someone" has objected, not necessarily whom. Do I have it correct?

The Hooter went 30 seconds after they crossed the line, the trainer wouldn`t even have made it to the stipes before then. The trainer or Jock then objecting adds more weight to the case

With respect the original winner could never have kept the race ! He clearly moves from the middle of the course inwards and in fact does make contact with the second horse and even though the second horse did seem to hang onto him once the damage had been done? Sorry just my uninformed opinion? It was the right decision? I also think ( and I'm open to correction) that the stipes will first wait to see if an owner a jock or trainer want to object before they do! I may well be wrong as I mostly am.

@ Bloodshot. In your post above you have written three words short of 100 without reference to Smirnoff, voddies, etc. Are you feeling OK?

bloodshot these is one of many reason why the nhra is ridicule as the clue less that they are become in last 10 or so year. what is these non sense they wait for connections/trainer/jockey to object first? is like say the police wait for the victim to report crime first be fore they arrest even if the crime happen be fore there very eyes! these stipes have be come the embarassment what the hell do they get the salary for doing ????
