I've gone with Electric Elektra each way - debut run over the course represents fair form and had to ease at a crucial stage that day

Another nice Alec Laird horse. I hope they stay with the interviews so we can hear his take on Royal Bencher who I fancy strongly tonight and the summer cup.

Race 7: Golden Dawn has had this race as her target since moving to Jhb 3 months ago. She was slightly disappointing in her debut Gauteng run but has come on well since then. Unfortunately she did not like the heavy going in CT last winter, and her best form is on good ground. If the going is not too soft she is a serious runner.

There could be a number of assumptions one could make.

1) horse was speedy, but riding instructions were to hold, possibly if too much money on the horse.

2) horse is speedy, and jock, tried to hold back horse. In doing so, another jock takes the gap, resulting in jock on speedy horse, shifting. Fancy word, horse baulked.

3) Jock could have an incentive not to win or even place.

4) if horse is speedy, it should be in front of the horse that cut into the speed horse, unless held back for any of the above assumptions.

5) try following the speed horse for the next 5 races, in races run under condiitions, distance, course etc, and watch price of the horse. And then you watch out for the betting coupe. And then you nail the bookies.

6) keep a close eye on jocks or trainers who have a "BAD" day , then follow them next time they race again.

7) keep track of betting coupes, trainer, jockey, course, distance,

Good example today, Turf 1 - lairds 1st timer, in the betting, then scratched, Favourite I believe. All bets on the winner face a deduction.

Race 2, laird 1st timer wins, with champion jock on the favourite running second

As I have mentioned befored, SA, RACING tops the lead when it comes to transparency.

Oh, One more thing, it would be foolish ,not to believe that our jocks don't communicate with each other.

Another thought, why would Fradd leave such lucrative deals riding overseas ....possibly a case of home sick..????

Looking at the winning margin, surely that result must be reversed ??
