What really gets to me is the fact that somebody starts a thread on United's transfer flop, why is it always United this and United that.United are champoins and last season whilst everybody was sleeping Fergie picked up the buy of the deckade in RVP. This season around United lost scholes witch was a big los and he had to be replaced wich did not happen during this past transfer window. I concur, we needed a specialist midfielder. That is the end of that chapter. United is about the club and not fancy players....It has been proven over and over !! This is a very long season and D.Moyes has an enormous task on his shoulders but I have no doubt the fans, the players and the club will stand buy him, this season is only 3 games old !!! Anyways....United only start playing over December when all the other clubs/players think about Christmas boxes.

At least it brought some people out of the woodwork,I'm surprised Engles gave you a (tu) instead of a bollocking for note posting much..
Bit more news for you glory hunters.

Van Persie not happy.

The Dutchman has told pals he is missing Fergie, who was key in persuading him to quit Arsenal for Old Trafford a year ago in a £25m deal.

It is understood Van Persie also has misgivings about some of Moyes' training methods.

Former Everton boss Moyes now has his work cut out to convince Van Persie he is the right man for the United hotseat.

Despite starting the season brightly, with two goals in the champions' first two games, the 30-year-old appeared out of sorts in the goalless draw with Chelsea and 1-0 defeat at Liverpool.

Moyes needs to find a way to bring the dutchman round
“When he's frustrated he is capable of doing something silly, and you could see that against Liverpool.”
A friend of Robin van Persie
Van Persie cut a frustrated figure at Anfield on Sunday and looked close to losing his cool several times.

A friend of Van Persie - who has been the Premier League's top scorer for the last two seasons - said: "Robin isn't happy and when that's the case he can't hide it on the pitch.

"When he's frustrated he is capable of doing something silly, and you could see that against Liverpool.

"He feels it isn't the same with the new manager as he misses working with Fergie, who he really loved playing under. Some of Moyes' training methods are not to his liking either."

early days and even tho utd dont have the best midfielders in the epl, what we do have is a winning mentality and im sure wen everyone is fit we will dominate this epl season again as we have done in the past 20 odd years.i understand that other teams have strengthened and improved there squads and will pose a serious threat to utds dominance, but in the end utd will win the epl again this season provided mr moyes can pick his best team for the opposition we face.on sunday quite frankly he picked a poor team and it cost us our 3 points, but its early in the season and im sure he will improve given time.the main threat to utd imo will be the arsenal who are playing the best football in the epl atm.as for liverpool im sure they will be happy if they can finish at least 5th or 6th this season, altho i think they will finish in 7th or 8th.i must admit it would be nice if utd had a class midfielder like cazorla or ozil or mata or oscar or hazard or silva or modric, but we dont so we must soldier on and who knows we might make a quality signing in the january window.the top 4 will be the same as last year with utd winning again, arsenal 2nd,chelsea 3rd and city 4th,spurs 5th

Agh pleez.

Rumours , rumours again.

If RVP spoke to you personally, I might believe you.

Engles, it's called social- media.
I think certain reporters have an agenda, put Moyes under pressure. They were to scared of SAF and Moyes is an easy target.

To be honest I'm only pulling your leg,I'm sure you will make Champions League next year..

Man Utd are notorious slow starters (look at the stats for those that like facts).

Fergie has proven to be a top judge of character - he saw something in Moyes a long time ago when he offered Moyes the no.2 spot. Moyes rejected it for the no.1 spot at Everton. That demonstrated Moyes ambition and self belief.

The results that Moyes achieved at Everton with a shoe string budget is as good as the results that other "top" managers achieve with unlimited resources etc.

Will Moyes succeed? Time will tell. He has my full support - I hope he gets at least 2 seasons (hopefully 3)to prove himself.

My money is on Utd to win the league THIS SEASON!

I See Nani has sign a new contract... I am happy that he did because he does provide something different to the United team... I would have him in the team before Young and Valencia.

would like to know the united clan thoughts ( englander, Gregbucks Etc )
CNC, please feel to comment aswell :)

I agree with you totally.
Young should be sold or loaned out

YS, imo, you can't just say players are poor and need to be got rid of etc, which is perhaps your implication re Young and Valencia, without looking at the bigger picture. As I said before, if United had a Fabregas or someone similar it would make the life of Valencia and Young so much easier. Nani has the advantage of being a little more technically adept but its a long time since he has threatened down the wings, he often cuts inside these days and shoots from 30-odd yards. If United are not going to buy someone who will help create space down the flanks then I would agree, it is fairly pointless having the wingers in the team. It is not fair though to simply say they are not very good when we are allowing defenders to negate their strengths. They are not Ryan Giggs or Lionel Messi and are not good enough to make a mark so to speak without help around them, that does not mean they are bad players or that they would not be effective if there was more creativity through the middle. I have never thought any of the 3 are superstars but they are good players. I think it also probably fair, in Valencia's case, to say that switching someone of his ability between right wing and right back is not helping his natural flair, it must affect the mind-set somewhat. Nani is probably best of the 3 as you say (when his mind is on the game and confident, the worst when not) but I can't help but think he is all too often a cheating ponce more interested in himself than the team!
