well Englander the further this topic re the match goes the more you are making me scratch my head. Liverpool had to be very good on the day in order to beat United. Anytime that beats United have to be very good on the day.

Define how they were very good?
Defensively I agree
Offensively... :S goal apart, what/where/when was the threat?

Essentially then we agree. United held the threat but scum did very well to nullify that threat. In addition United's "wingers" lacked the execution in penetration and delivery... as they did against the Russians. Although it is of course accepted that any team can at any point score, at no point did I think they would score a second, it was all a question of whether or not United could break them down. We failed to do so and that is the "concern". To use that to simply say we played badly or were not the better team though is, imo, way off the mark.

Personally I think the FA has cocked up big time with the fixture list..
United v Chelsea and Liverpool v United are way too early in the season, the united v Chelsea game was a don't
lose game for both camps..When we played United last season at The Bridge they had to play catch up and played an
attacking system,at Old Trafford we were desperate for points..
These latest games were too early.

United play City this month as well and on the same day Chelsea are at Spurs. As you say DTF its crazy to have all these big matches so early in the season even the North London Derby has been played.

I agree DTF in terms of an exciting league. United also have Shity in a couple of weeks. I don't care about it being a so-called tough start, in many ways best to get them out of the way early but from an excitement perspective, poor planning

The way I look at it, Moyes need to be his own self.
I get the feeling he is still picking a playing squad as Ferguson would.
I say remove Giggs. I hope I get up in the morning and raed in the newspaper that he has retired FOR GOOD.
Ashley young is useless. Valencia not much better. Ferdinand , Evra are past their "sell by date".
Fellani is NOT the type of midfielder we want in the side. We need someone that can run with the ball and we have that player in Kagawa.

At least we support a side and don't just pick on others when their side gets beaten.

You get them
He's a South African Scot who is very patriotic so he supports an Italian team... :S lol
Right, enough trying to educate you lot on the realities of the football world... racing to check out... that Vaal card for Thursday from what I've seen so far looks poor and very tricky
Agra... a lot of what you say is true but they are good players, just need to find form/confidence again.. they either do so or they will be gradually shifted out. Fergie would never have bought Fellaini... Moyes is his own man
