Sandy Lane - inconsistent run

I see the stipes looked into his inconsistent form after his win the other day but took no action .
Waste of time and money IMO ... Why bother

Look at first few runs, hoss has TOP ability but must have had something wrong. They only lose their form, never their ability

Wasnt an 'inconsistent' run for me...lol.Sometimes a horse actually shows that he is ready to win,but than over his next few runs he runs in the wrond distances, plagued by bad draws, track conditions,ect...so when he finally has everything in his favour....and wins at a big price...than its suddenly a bohaai...

even the stipes thought it was inconsistent and i don't even think the trainer thought it had a chance - it had tried the distance and failed - has been drawn well before and run poorly in the wet - if you found this you were guessing

The Stipes found it inconsistent and that is good enough for me - Also THE TRAINER (who i would expect wouyld nop more about the horse than any of us)
When questioned regarding the improved performance of SANDY LANE (R Khathi), the winner, compared to its previous race on the 30th July 2013 at Kenilworth racecourse when it finished 11th, ten and a half lengths behind the winner over 1600 metres, Trainer Page could give no reasonable explanation. The Board reviewed this gelding’s previous race and was satisfied that it raced and was ridden on merit. Mr Page’s attention was drawn to the rules pertaining to inconsistent form and the future performances of SANDY LANE will be monitored

Mr H ,it's what I call the "film critic" syndrome..........they have to see things different to mere mortals........that's why they can charge for their foresight.
A question I would like to ask many of the experts..........what is their definition of inconsistent form?

Mr H...ive read that statement...and in all honesty...Not all trainers know their horses better than some of our tipsters! Not the 1st time ive tipped a horse that the trainer was expecting nothing from..and it wont be the last. You always here money is coming for a horse than the stable says its not their money...so some1 somewhere must know something, right?

Heinrich I absolutely agree , Ziets tipped Monday at Kimberley a few Miller horses , here is what one of the my close group members said
Ek was van oggend by cliffie miller en moes hoor van die virus by sy stal en dat nie een n kans het nie! Hy wen wragtag drie en ook plekke.!
Some trainers are managers and the other are trainers/coaches , I prefer the latter and a guy who study form , form does not lie 90% of the time

In the case we are looking at the horse was held on form by many of the other runners, had tried the distance, had worn blinkers, had drawn well, run in the wet, had not earned a stake cheque in 10 runs so if you were looking at form how on earth would you find this?

I would never single her out as the winner but I can give you a whole lot of reasons why you been stupid not to have her in your exotics or in your top 5 selections in that race .Their are people looking much deeper than just the last race
