The seventh is an 82MR for f&m and like the rest of the card doesnt do it for me.But it is the last of the jkpot and if we could whittle this down we could go wider elsewhere.I suppose this can be said of the other legs as well.
My good friend Lootch owns Georgia In My Mind and the stable is expecting a bold showing as she is well and has finished ahead of a few.Horses that I would exclude are Mexican Glory,Cold Approach,Stamford Bridge and the last two runners.To this I would add Delta Lioness as Dalalaat (pole and Strydom) holds both her and Hotel Royale.I would be hesitant to add H/R as I feel its just a matter of when for her to smack us and would like to be on when it does.I would also add Amazing Grace and GOMM to that exclusion list as they both finished behind Cante Libre (Sapphire Ring 1000m).
The last two of CL runs suggests she is losing form but I am hesitant to say so myself.A number of horses that finished behind her would have been favourite here.To Remember should be added to the list but that's inviting trouble as Singeant is a past master at bringing them home at this venue and more, at the price TR is expected to be.So my mix would be Dalalaat,Cante Libre,Hotel Royale and To Remember.If I find I need to narrow it down further I would go for Cante Libre.

Going to give Lucky Hand another chance, I am hoping that last run of hers was not her run and we will see her back to her first Sand run.

Well after going through the statistics regarding the VAAL SAND since January 2013, I have identified the following for those who like numbers...

There are 4 race distances covered today namely the 1000m, 1200m, 1450m and the 1800m

Here are the numbers crunched regarding draws;

1000m - Not a single winner from barrier 3 during 2013, 8 winners from draws 1,2,4,5 and 6 combined. 19 winners from barriers 7,8,9,10,11,12,13 and 14 combined. Top three winning barriers include 7 (4 winners) 8 (4 winners) and 11 (3 winners) - CONCLUSION : High draws %

1200m - Not a single winner from barrier 10 during 2013, 13 winners from draws 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 combined. 11 winners from barriers 7,8,9,11 and 12 combined. Top three winning barriers include 1 and 7 (4 winners each) and 4,5 and 8 (3 winners each) barrier 11 has 2 winners - CONCLUSION : Low numbers slightly favoured.

1450m - Not a single winner from barriers 10,11 and 12 during 2013, 15 winners from draws 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 combined. 5 winners from barriers 7,8,9 and 13 combined. Top three winning barriers include 2 (4 winners) 3,4 and 5 (3 winners each) barrier 9 has 2 winners - CONCLUSION : Low draws %

1800m - Only 7 races over this distance for 2013 and we have 2 over this distance today. No winners from draws 1,4,5,6,7,9,11,13,14 and 15. Draws 2,3,8,1 and 16 have each produced 1 winner and barrier 12 has produced 2 winners - CONCLUSION : Not enough data to evaluate draws and field sizes are usually small over course and distance

I made the assumption that once again nothing will be coming from far back. I know that is dangerous but I am tied up later so will not be able to assess the going from the first couple of races.
