Why must I give you tips? What do I get out of it?

Yes they dont always get it right, but if i was to enter into a partnership
or own a horse Teamg would be one of them that i would consider
You run a business and want to prosper
Lots of trainers to choose from why not choose the trainer tht is open
and shares well being of horses?

I wonder who this person requesting info from Alexander Stable.....hmm they win one race a month so no sweat....the bottom line is you must have exposed yourself with info now dont complain....surely you must have shared in the passed.

?.........hey dudes it's rude to ask racing people for tips......so is it a no go to ask a doctor for medical advice while playing golf.or standing in a queque .....or asking lawyers for legal advice at the gym..... get the picture just not etiquette ......:S.....if a doctor lawyer financial broker chef golfpro jockey gives you some free advice while on a beach or in an aeroplane be grateful......but asking is just not cool......

I think you have all missed the point...

Ruby WORKS for the trainer and THEIR owners, it is not her info to give out.

Sham, Eudey, TeamG etc are all trainers who give out the info to THEIR stables where THEY run the show.

As with most companies, it is illegal to give info about the company that you work for...

Even in Dubai, where there is no betting, we were not allowed to give info on runners unless the trainer had given us permission to.
This was stated in the contract we signed with the Club...

Pay trainers and jockeys for tips and you end up in the poor house

I think people have the wrong opinion about ruby and they certainly have the wrong opinion about this thread.....

Pirates, again you are being "entitled". This is not the first time. You demand to be given information in an industry that just simply won't supply it. Because you want the info and a third party is not prepared to supply it you decide to go on the attack.....

Just leave them alone. Find your own info, make your own decisions. This is your money and you can do with it as you like......

I know you are trying to "better" the racing world and the lot of the punter and i commend you for that. BUT, IMVHO if you want to do that you should start a lot higher than Ruby to fire the first salvo's, try Vee Moodley or perhaps Larry or even Mr. Jooste and Mr van Niekerk..........

Let the people who love and work with horses get on with their job. Fight the system, not the man.

But here goes, my tip- don't piss into the wind because it will all blow back to your legs and just for interest sake pls Ruby keep your so called tips because nothings lost. This site is for everyone to enjoy and if you don't wanna share you don't belong here(klaar)(gelas).

:S surely this is simple...

1. We are all part of the industry... breeders, owners, trainers, jockeys, stables, bookies, punters... and if any of these participants leave the scene then there is no industry.

2. As I posted before... imvho a punter has every right to know and should be told if a trainer does not think that a horse is 100% fit for a race for whatever reason... or has made significant progress since its last 30 length defeat and could win... or the reason why the trainer thinks their 2/5 favourite finished 7 lengths back of the winner in 4th or 5th... etc etc etc. (Chippy, the legalities of who can say what are, to me, not important, whoever can give out this information to the punters should do so, indeed imo, it should be a "must" do so)

3. Ruby, as Heinrich has been at pains to confirm, again on my earlier post, does give out info through Twitter

4. Clanners and others who then bother her for additional "tips" should leave her (the fark) alone

Now, I am an opinionated and stubborn individual and if anyone disagrees with any of the above then I don't want to know cos, quite simply, imvho... you are wrong -

tommy is it such a DEMAND to know that punters are told that the horse they are putting their cash on all is well with it??im not going to lower myself to reply to some of your comments because iv spoken about it plenty times before on this site..as iv said before many thanks to those trainers and jockeys who can see the LIGHT in this regard...amen
