giving out the wellbeing of the horse and the trainers or jockeys thoughts on its chances encourages people to bet and in case you didnt know the money that people bet with pays stakes to owners trainers and jockeys...its time you and the few others realised that your archaic approach in this regard is killing the industry ..

So as a punter i dnt have the right to know if a horse is fully fit or not?

Rules state that every horse in a race must be given a ride on its full merit

Im thinking rubyclipper has been drinking too much ruby red this afternoon

I do not drink what so ever. So, no I am not "pissed".

But I tell you what, give me some of those winnings. Give me something that is YOURS. That you've worked hard to achieve. Share it with me. Give ME some. I think it's a very fair swop. In fact I think I have a RIGHT to have some of those winnings.

Cos I feel that I deserve a little something for other poeple enjoying the fruits of my hard work.

Ruby if you are approached by under starters orders will you refuse?

Is your thinking if you dnt own it dnt ask about it?

And lastly is it the policy of yr stable not to provide the public info on the well being of the horses

Yup - nobody can give me a good enough reason. Because tipping does not lead to new clients, or more stakes. But what I do get sense of right here is ENTITLEMENT. Where you feel it is your RIGHT. (Sounds like our government) But sorry boys. Not gonna happen. Give it up, and leave me alone. I've made my point. Ask Ziets for tips. Or Heinrich. They cahrge for their service. They are pros. But leave me ALONE.

Ruby, surely this is somewhat rhetorical as you do have that twitter "account". The guys that sms you etc, yeah I would probably tell them where to go, but my understanding was that you did release information regarding the well being etc of your horses on that twitter account. Is that not so? Maybe get an auto response sending them to the twitter account B)- As for the clanners who PM you etc... come on guys, play fair. Ruby comes on here unlike many others and we are are lucky to have her insight into many aspects of racing and training, lets not push her for more, more, more... disappointing to hear. But! lol as someone said early on this thread Ruby, most of us don't want tips, we just want to know if a horse is going to need the run, had vacs etc. Why should we be told this, because in fairness we are part of the "industry" and your reward is that we help keep the industry alive... see the figures on how many punters are defecting to sports and on-line poker etc, it should be a concern. That is not to say you don't play a more direct and significant role, of course you do but that does not make us punters "irrelevant" in the big scheme of things... does it? :)
