Its not about an elitist group with the knowledge being the only ones to comment. It would be a very boring forum if that was the case. Its about everyone having a say but being able to accept that sometimes they can be very wrong, and for those with the knowledge to help us "mugs" attain a better understanding '

I must observe that South Africans are mostly intolerant of other points of view; can be explained as due to cultural hereditary transference (GB Shaw?)

If you mention what makes them 'tick', they all jump! If you say something that cuts into their grain.... wade into you (just one or two, they don't want to expose it as a class obsession!) or clam up (which says much more)! This modus operandi is evident in the news and other social blogs; the atheists, religious zealots, pro-Zuma, anti-Lille, and even the ME! Injury to one is injury to all....applies not only to COSATU workers, but across the spectrum!

And we all want to be proud of our 'rainbow' nation as being sooooooo tolerant and non-prejudiced!

Sick nation!
