i really cannot believe that you are turning this into a religious thing - very poor

i never picked on any religion, merely showing there are different types of things that disturb us and affect animals, should we ban all of them. What about toyi toyi, very noisy , should we ban strikes. Dont take it to heart. Caroline Ashworth picked on religion and made racist remarks on indians, whats your view on that Mr Hawaii.

I have no idea who Caroline Ashworth is nor what she has to do with Indians or Fireworks . Dogs(and animals in general) unlike people do not see race so any religion worth it's salt should respect the rights on dogs and animals. When you start talking about Jews and Indians and Blacks etc I just switch off as that thinking got South Africa into the mess it's in.

Umlilo I am the first to admit I have no culture(or religion) nor do i seek it as it seems bad behavior can often be excused using religion and culture as an excuse.

KittyC if you feel that its OK to allow Fireworks to traumatise animals then that is your view and you are entitled to it but why do you choose to back up your point with racist/religious connotations?
Don't sign, remove the chip and move on....simple

if they are kept in a safe place and in no danger. Besides its an annual event. Do you think drugs and alcohol should be banned, bars etc. Because they destroy families including gambling aswell.

having grown up and been mentored by hard-core communists (EV Mahomed, Braam Fischer, etc), I admired their commitment and intelligence.

Add to this, they had the utmost respect for other points of view (except Stalin!), and would guide you into their way of thinking..... not by insults and ex-communication.
