Flyhalf Johan Goosen will undergo knee surgery today @ 12. This will rule him out for the rest of the season. The fact that Goosen picked up two serious injuries in his debut season will be cause for concern over his future, especially as he has been touted as the long-term answer for the Boks at flyhalf.
I hope Plumtree will play Lambie @ 10 for the Sharks in the Currie Cup as I believe he could be the answer for the Bokke end of year tour to the UK. Jantjie's is average. But, I'm sure that if Morne Steyn produces and return to form for the Bulls, Meyer will call him back.

I see the ANC are having a go at the lack of black players in the Springbok set up...

Heyneke pluk 'n lat vir sy eie gat. What is Taute doing at outside centre? He's better at 15. It's a difficult channel to defend and he leaked 2 tries against the All Blacks. De Jong was outstanding in the Currie Cup final and combines well with Juan de Villiers. Mvovu is also in great form, but HM insist to keep a scrumhalf at wing. Hougaard is a impact player.I was also p*ssed off when HM selected an unfit Jaques Potgieter ahead of Kolisi (earlier this season) who was outstanding in S15. Morne Steyn is off. Why is he on the bench and not Elton ? And then Schalk Britz. He left SA to play in the UK. I admit Britz is awesome, but, Chilliboy must feel real agro being the reserve to either Bismarck or Adriaan and now?
My point. These guy's I've mentioned wont make the team weaker. Ek raak de moer if they make wrong choice as we all know that the ANC will jump on the wagon like they have done now again. Just my 2 cents
