well i dont think you will ever find a complaint about them from me as i dont have telectrack, but i can imagine the complaints are not about the tips but about the lack of information that matters or the mistakes that happen.
So i think its fair to complain if :
1: they suggest that danceswithwolves will take the power of beating.......and its scratched
2: they interview a trainer after a race and forget to ask him about his horses later on
3: they dont walk the course with a stick and tell viewers where they think the best going is
i will leave you with an analogy that i often use here in the UK
" just because something is for free, does not mean you want it. After all AIDS is for free and most dont want that"

The problem with the the Tellytrack is that we continually hear that finances are an issue.Normal business response is cost containment and the rapid benefits are eliminating expenses that add no value.
IMHO 80% of the voices I hear on Tellytrack add no value...............the exceptions (as have been listed on the site often) add a lot of value.
The term "tipping" covers everything from form analysis to guessing ,and it is clear that the posters,as a generalisation, enjoy the analysts(the 20%) and could do without the guessers (the 80%)
Certainly comedy and cabaret seem to score no points.

Sorry i thought it was part of the multichoice package.
Well there is (except law/phumelela) nothing stopping anyone from leasing bandwith/channel from multichoice then hiring a studio and staff (3 needed) then a OB van (2 needed 4 stafff) and then 2 oncourse presenters(double meetings).
the whole lot can be done for quite cheap, then you need to recoup investment. I dont know how many subscribers one could get paying a "fair" rate for a brilliant service.
Would you say there are more than 5000 potential racing clients?
if so then the budget to work with is 5000 x monthly subs (lets say R150) then you have R750k to pay for the above per month.....probably could do it with that ammount BUT can you find 5000 subscribers?

that does not seem like a bad deal.
Sky costs me about £60 a month, then Racing UK another £20 a month so its not a bad deal you have there and you get more live football than us.
I think from what i hear teletrack needs a revamp and new blood BUT that applies to most of racing. So it might be easier to start your own channel and deliver the product everyone wants

Dubai has about 400-500 races in the 5 month season, 10 meetings a month.
