Shrek - I would love to think my horses will do well, but in my book the horse to beat is Greenacre. I also think Lord Jonathan is a big runner! Le Var priced wrong by the bookies (they think Cape horses are always the ones to beat) and should have been much shorter. He is a big runner - not saying he will win (he is even better than his last win) but will be in the first 4. Sedge has been gelded and this race has come a bit too quick for him. Having said that his work has been very very good and may surprise!

Would anyone be interested if a racing journalist went to the JHB training centres early in the mornings, spoke to trainers, watched the horses work, even got some video footage and then posted all this information on ABC?

Gregbucks - I would for sure! But you are pulling my leg right? Do we have journalists willing to do this with the support of an operator or printed media behind him/her? After all the Computaform has all you need.......

Greg who would do this for nothing? this is the point there is no income/budget to help,we need to rely on guff sites like tabonline. Most of their news stories have already been exhauted days before they print anyway...

Sportingpost is the only news site that comes up to scratch, the rest just pander to bodies and oversees sponsors...
