14 years 9 months agoI have the privilege of being on the island for some business and pleasure and was invited to a most beautiful Thai restaurant.
The owner also owns Teamog and the cup is proudly displayed in the restaurant. The race was shown on the big screen over an over while i was there what a great vibe.
I will be back on the island for the Maiden Cup in a few weeks.

I know the restaurant well, in Curepipe. Back Senor Versace in the cup, it will pay for your dinner.

Hi Mark, hope you are well? Actually, I live in Mauritius and I'm looking for a job in the horse racing industry. Thus, I wanna know if you have some contacts in the island_right now I'm working as a teller/operator in a tote betting company on a temporary basis...I would be very thankful to you if you could link me up to someone, dude!

Good afternoon Adam
"working as a teller/operator in a tote betting company"
can I ask you what are your rules if someone puts 5,000 on a horse and comes back with the ticket just before the off and says he has made a mistake and wants to cancel the bet, what would be the procedure?

My company's rule is simple - It says that you must check your ticket before leaving the counter, so no cancellation is accepted.
In case if you have really made a mistake, the manager can accept to cancel your bet.
