Irish flat season opens today where Ryan Moore rides Toy, Ivy League and Mother Earth which all have good chances. He also rides Bowerman @17/2 and Macadams Rock @ 20/1 once again showing that he is not afraid to ride horses that may not have a chance unlike a certain hero of the craig twins

Doncaster kicks off the UK season where Diligent Harry looks a winner

Not the best of days for the world champ yesterday only winning on an arm chair ride He has 3 rides at Naven today. One of his rides, Tuesday, is 2/5. :blush:

The clocks have gone forward so an hours less sleep as the dog woke me up using his time clock.

At Doncaster today there is a runner, Ey up its Maggie. Yesterday stable companion won at Doncaster its a small stable so hoping that this runner is also ready.

Raymond Tusk also a fancy today.

Sams the man looks the right one Ascot race 2

First choice at Doncaster 3rd from last. The rider appeared knackered when trying to get the horse to shift a gear. Fitness, besides safety, is the most important thing when riding a race horse.

Micky the Steel at Naas each way jockey is a real trier up for a small trainer
