TELETRACK REPLAYS NOT UP TO SCRATCH
15 years 3 months ago
I had good reason to watch the Kimberley " replays" late last night...at about 9.30 or 10.00 pm. My wife had told all the aunts, uncles, cousins to watch the replays of the Kimberley racing... young Elvis had her first 2 winners as a professional jockey / ette & the whole family was told to watch.
To our dismay R7 went off without a hitch, R9 - the last race of the day - race shown as per normal - BUT JOCKEY INTERVIEW, TRAINER , OWNER INTERVIEW - MISSING.
We stay up late to watch & record, yet mediocrity continues. Was the editing guy in a rush to get home ?
This is not the 1st time its happened. A few months back, young Elvis won the last at Kimberley, weighed in - went for the interview - low and behold the camera crew had all packed up & gone home - this would also have been a double for the young appie, but the interview was not to be.
The above thread was prompted by an irate granny who records ALL of young Elvis's win - WHEN POSSIBLE !
I guess you win some - you loose some. ( what if this was the only winner for the owner for that particular year - tough luck mate )

yes i saw that their was no interview and it reminds me of the bettingworld operators at head office club tab greyville as once the horses jump for the last race they are out of there so much so that you got to go back the next day to collect..

Elvis - 'Not up to scratch' is putting it mildly - why don't you email 'presenter@phumelela.com' and dare them to read out your complaint over the air....

Frodo, don't want to make a TIDAL wave, but a small ripple in the right direction might make a differance. They just need to be a bit more professional.
If for whatever reason the footage was not available / lost - just say so on a screen print, then we're all in the picture.
