IN Awe returns to his favourite distance at Flamingo Park on Monday in a MR 92 Handicap over 1400m and looks set to get back on the winning trail.

Peter Miller’s runner was sent out 9-10 favourite in a Pinnacle Plate in his last start but was never in contention and faded to fifth, nine lengths behind stablemate Eagle Eye.

That was over 1600m and although In Awe has won over the distance, his best performances have come over 1400m. In nine races over that distance at Flamingo Park he was won five and placed in the other four.

Miller has a strong hand with four runners and any of Scrutinize, Asmera or stable newcomer Wildhay are capable of chasing In Awe home.

However, that task could go to Copper Trader, who has run well in all four of his starts at this track. In his only start over 1400m at Flamingo Park, he finished a 1.50-length third behind In Awe and is now 2kg better off.

Agree Gajima - What About Still Grog with Nikki up - must be a runner on that last run and the time might just be right for COPPER TRADER to get a win
