Russian Sage

Is running in a Condition Stakes over 1m 2f at Kempton tomorrow evening in the first race. The horse has the plumb draw and should win against this field with ease.

He is running off 108 and carries 9 stone 4 pounds. Martin Dwyer is the jockey.

Thank God for All weather racing..

PS the conditions of the race gives the filly at the bottom a massive chance..

I agree with you big man. I think I will just take a forecast 9-1 in that race.

The reason Russian Sage is running on the all weather is that he has failed miserably on the undulating turf in England. He couldn't even handle York or Newmarket, two of the least undulating courses in the UK.

Mike de Kock says he handles the Polytrack really well.

If the horse runs well he is off to Dubai, where racing next season will be conducted on an all weather surface named Tapeta, invented in Maryland by former UK trainer Michael Dickinson.

He is not going to California.

He would only return to South Africa as a racehorse as a last resort.
