Youbet coverage - Calling Barry

Barry,

Do you know why Youbet have suddenly stopped covering SA cards? You can still watch some SA racing on racing international when they cover UK racing, but the cards have been taken off for SA.

I have emailed their help desk and hope to hear back from them......If they don't cover SA racing, I'm going to be exceedingly upset. Then I have no idea how to watch SA racing from the US.

Have you heard anything?

Tommy when i first started using You bet last year i found that they sometimes missed the first few races,the coverage seemed to start when the Uk racing started for some reason..

Not been on youbet for a few months though so can`t comment on the current coverage..

Hibs,

I see they have rectified the meetings now and the SA meetings seem to be back on track, however I agree with you. The coverage is not great and also we always miss the first few races of the meetings.

I'm trying to have my folks register on betfair from SA for me. They will not allow me to register from here (in the US).
Hopefully I can then log in there and watch the SA racing.........

Lets wait and see

The guy that activates the coverage from abroad sometimes doesn't arrive at work on time at the You Bet studio, which is why initiation of the signal is spotty. At 4 a. m., the guy has trouble focusing on the wall where the switch is located. Last week he peed all over his new tennis shoes and wound up wiping his ass with a newspaper, the poor bastard!

Thats understandable Barry....nobody likes to start work at 4AM especially in California where I assume things don't get started until closer to midday??? (Was that just an omen for the filles and mares turf at the BC?!?!?!
