Another absolute joke! The sand not ready so they change to grass BUT all horses run off their sand merit rating..how bad has it have to get before shareholders force some changes?

Read Jack Milner in the rxp
"However, what complicates it for the punters is that the change was made after final acceptance and thus all the sand merit ratings will apply"
Give Jack his due
"but that does open some opportunities in that the reverse is also true. Some runners have a lower sand rating and are running on the turf with that lower rating"
I cant study normal form, so will leave it to the experts to post a few tips
WHERE'S MAGIC?
LOL

Another case of a multi billion enterprise run by a bunch of rank amateurs.

Its not right that this happens..basically its anything goes..Jan maak n plan..well I spose horse trading applies...turnover at all costs..I cannot for the life of me believe that the trainers just accept this type of thing.

The meeting of 10th Nov has also moved to the turf so don't ask me how they ever thought they could use the sand tomorrow.

The trainers at the Vaal could see it wasnt gonna be ready a couple of weeks back magic..but I cant understand them they need to get an organised body together and take on Phum with this kinda thing..its the apethy that is allowing this game to be steamrolled..but I tell you what give it another 6 months and watch as the recession bites hard in SA then they might start fighting for stakes etc as the no of horses in training drop..I think the place to be a trainer over the next couple yrs is PE and Kimberly

Why not? Trainers have the choice to run or not. Could be some easy money for owners etc with small fields. The whole thing is a balls up but it's better than nothing.
