GYPSY Fairs

Just watched a documentary about Gypsy racing/show horses ,must say the trotting flashing was a sight to behold and BenHur would have been proud of the riders.


There is a lot of groups both for and against ,as there is in most fields that involve animals,and the show i watched has probably blinkered me as they only showed the good side.


We have all heard horror stories,but least this group seem to love and care for their animals..

These are called Gypsey Vanners - not to be confused with Irish Cobs - and there is a lady in Waterfall, KZN, who is importing a stallion to breed these horses.
