Would these kind of conditions put a horse like Casey's Son in with a shout, or is he too far off the horses at the top of the bookmaker's boards on current form?

I have backed Mokaro for the Gold Cup tomorrow, and was at Kenilworth last September when Casey's Son beat him quite easily in the Settler's Trophy in soft going. All 5 of his wins have come in soft going.

I see he is still trading at 80/1 on GreatOdds, and 20/1 a place for eachway bets.

Patterns...
Patterns...
patterns...

MDK..
Distance 1600 and up..
BIG RACES.....

RUDRA..
BOUQUET-GRANI..
FOREST PATH..ZIRCONEUM...
LAVERNA....

and now....BOUQUET_GARNI....AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

What do they have in common...
jump..never mind the draw..never mind the pace...foot flat to the board...
400 meters to go...pull the wip..2-3 shots...ears pricked...going away from the field...

...backed it as if they knew the results...

the more the rain...the better...the heavier the course...the better...

not even the PE trainers and their DR LENOX and WATER will beter this PATTERN..

Thanks Greg. Will be shouting Mokaro home along with you then. Also had to take a small bit of Casey's Son at those odds with conditions presumably to suit.

yep, had the spelling wrong..small medicine bottle that old people used.

3-4 in a bucket of water...horse is a fit as a fiddle..no sore legs, back..runs like a champ..
some of the guys put 7 bottles in...then it shows up on the jockey club tests..

not that they test that well anymore..

holiday in a 7 day window...no testing...except for specific cases..
night racing in a 7 day window...same..

So far so good. Dry and calm, but clouds are building up. Caseys Son would love it if the ground came up soft and worth throwing into Pick 6 if it looks like rain later.
