TELECRAP REPLAYS UP TO SH!T..WHERE'S OUR 2nd CHANNEL ?

Last night's ( this mornings ) replay of the Vaal racing was a complete farse.
English racing finished at 22.00 hrs. Where was the Vaal replays ? be patient. Firstly you have to watch Neil Andrews on betting world programme ( 51 mins ) followed by a 30 min. program hosted By Julie.

THEN, ONLY THEN at 23.30 hrs. did the VAAL REPLAYS START. The particular race I wanted to watch & record came on after midnight.

NEIL PRETORIUS, the new guy at TELETRACK, please kick some arse & sort out the programming schedule. Not all Joburg racegoers can make the trek out to the Vaal, so they & thousands of others around the country rely on the replays.WHY MUST THEY BE SHOWN SO LATE ? Most of us do go to work the following day, & we all rely on a good nights sleep.

The Neil Andrews show, & Julie show are shown " in the loop through out the week " Can someone explain why these 2 shows should be aired BEFORE the days replays.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE 2nd CHANNEL, THAT HAS BEEN IN THE PIPELINE FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS ?

I don't give a rats arse about English racing, don't punt it - don't watch it.

I agree with the sentiment. I used to enjoy watching the replays, and other shows that were on after the racing. Now we've got this late night racing that goes on until ridiculous hours. I can't even be bothered to try anymore. At one stage, I had DSTV only to be able to watch Tellytrack. Now it's got to the point where I'll sometimes have the TV off rather than switch on the racing channel.

unfortunately for you mr blue suede shoes sa racing does not interest PGE. money is made from overseas racing so dont expect anything much to change.

Fair call Mike, but that still doesn't explain why replays don't come on before all 'magazine' type programmes. They should start as soon as UK coverage ends.

All uk replays can be found online at any time,although one of the sites that host them makes a small charge.

Would be good to get a full race replay when you want it.

True, hib. Easy enough in this age and a possible source of extra income for people who have elevated the meaning of greed to a whole new level!

Good point, Elvis; I know you had a special interest in race 7, but in general as you state, there must be quite a few people who just gave up and went to bed while the Bettingworld show dragged on (by the way does anyone follow these guys' tips - last week one of them tipped the Aussie double on the rugby and cricket - lol).

Surely in this day and age it must be possible to have the replays available somewhere on line - even at a 'small charge'?

Spare a thought for the poor presenters who have to struggle through the evening trying to convince some punter to fork out the last few cents in his telebet account on number 1 in the 5th at Redcar (or how about catching that elusive jackpot); it it were me it would really dampen my enthusiasm for the racing game.

But in the words of our previous RA manager; all things take take time, the 2nd channel is on the list and is being investigated.....or not?

I believe we will have a second channel just for SA Harness racing early next year.

Trained presenters, Trained Commentators the works. Night racing, Sponsors for every race.

Elvis fully agree with you..however I must again add Ive been in this game for many years..too many years..and I can tell you straight out your daughter rode a magnificent race and I would not have a second thought of putting her on any of my horses.Wonderful balance and what impressed me most was her excellent judge of pace..that in the end is what jockeyship is about..buy the video and make her watch it 100 times mate,
