magic do not make me laugh. the horse cruise up and should win easy. the jockette were outridden.

Fact remains she was the "winner" on either side of the line.

fact remains strength in the finish were the winner.

the young lady has a bright future as a jockey ..brute strength is not the biggest attribute a jockey needs..good hands, balance ,judgement of pace how to read a race are where nicky will more than make up for brute strength..horses seem to run for her and as long she continues to keep up her work ethic and keep her feet on the ground she will make it as a jockey..raceriding is the same as any other sport where people make up for their weaknesses in other ways..

There is no doubt that some horses need brute force, but certainly not all. Some of SA's strongest jockeys have ridden Signet Ring and didn't get that close to winning. For what it's worth.

My point aswell magic,not a straight forward ride(diplomatic).

mad mike , i have just returned from the vaal track. I was sitting next to St. John Gray table... after race 2 I asked him who had won.. he replied I think Nicci got it. Well it was not to be, it was a case of heads up and heads down, as magic lips stated earlier.

If she had won this race we wouldn't be having this conversation.it's a fine line between HERO / ZERO.

Had she won it, people would say it was a bloody good ride..... now she lost it, people critisize.

do you remember about 4-5 weeks ago, Nicci had a DOUBLE at KIMBERLEY..... the result, she won BOTH BY A SHORT HEAD. That day was her day, it was not her day for race 2

BUT TO MAKE AMENDS SHE RODE THEM ALL TO SLEEP IN R7, COMING FROM WELL OFF THE PACE TO WIN BY 4 L GOING AWAY. 33/1 was what I got.

go read what i say. she is not a bad jock. unfortunately for her she will never have the strength needed when there are tight finishes. good luck on her win today. i have nothing against her. we talk after she lose her claim.
