Sacred Kingdom vs J.J. ??

It would appear that JJ intends to go for the Golden Jubilee and not the King Stand Stakes? maybe the latest news could change the connections minds?
Sacred Kingdom team set to pay supplementary fee
ASCOT has compensated for the loss of Hungarian speedball Overdose from the royal meeting by luring one-time world leading sprinter Sacred Kingdom.
In what is a coup for the track, connections of the winner of this month's KrisFlyer International Sprint in Singapore have been persuaded to run the horse in the Golden Jubilee Stakes, even though it will cost them a £45,000 supplementary fee.
"It's really good news," said Ascot's PR director Nick Smith on Sunday.
“There was a party for Sacred Kingdom last night at which the news was announced that he was definitely coming."
Sacred Kingdom, trained by Ricky Yiu, is likely to be joined by Australian sprint stars Takeover Target and Scenic Blast.

The UK sprinters are a average crop this year and JJ would have a great chance over the 1000m.Why not attempt the double?

TAKEOVER TARGET has arrived safe and sound in Newmarket for his fourth assault on Royal Ascot next month.
The Australian superstar is entered for the Golden Jubilee Stakes but not the race he won in 2007, the King's Stand Stakes, as he bids to extend his record of finishing no worse than fourth in his five other starts at the meeting.
The nine-year-old was last seen finishing eighth behind Sacred Kingdom, who is also likely to run at Royal Ascot, in the KrisFlyer International Sprint at Kranji having previously been in tremendous form in Australia.
His trainer Joe Janiak said: "He arrived Saturday and had a brilliant trip over and he's settled good. It's our fourth time so we know our way round now.
"There was no problems with him [in the KrisFlyer International]. He didn't seem to handle the track all that good and he had different shoes on. He didn't seem to be stretching and they were too quick for him. He's won two Group 1s, a Group 2 and a Group 3 since England last year.
"He's jumping out of his skin at the moment. We'll do some three quarter work on Thursday and next week but he doesn't need a lot of work. I'd like to give him a trial clocking a week or two before the race."

Ascot hope J J The Jet Plane to run at Windsor
J J THE JET PLANE, South Africa's big hope for Royal Ascot glory, will get his first taste of British action when seeking to augment his claims for the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Windsor on Monday.
The Mike de Kock-trained dual Group 1 winner is as short as 8-1 for the Golden Jubilee with Paddy Power, but those odds could contract if the five-year-old impresses in the Listed Leisure Stakes, for which 20 horses have been entered.
While Kevin Shea is expected to resume his association with J J The Jet Plane at Ascot, Ryan Moore, who rode the speedster in a recent piece of work, has been booked to take the mount at Windsor.
Among the international raider's possible opponents in the Monday highlight is Sir Gerry, who could race for the first time since being moved to John Best from James Fanshawe.

J J The Jet Plane breezes through course gallop
J J THE JET PLANE completed his preparation ahead of his debut in Britain in the Listed Leisure Stakes at Windsor on Monday when working on the Rowley Mile racecourse on Thursday morning.
The dual Group 1-winning South African sprinter, who had worked on his own on the course at the end of last week, had the company of stablemateImbongi this time and went on in the closing stages of his workout under Juan Nel to book his place in the 6f event in which he will be ridden by Ryan Moore.
Nel, assistant to Mike de Kock, said: "I was very happy with that and he heads to Windsor.
"As we said before he won't be 100 per cent for the Windsor race and his main target is the Golden Jubilee followed by some other top sprints. However, he is doing good and we are looking forward to getting started with him."
