Both have come to the fore late in their careers. Moved trainers and owners i think. But well done to the connections for keeping the horsies running.

Duncan Howells has proved that he one of the better trainers in South Africa. From limited chances he has found and trained both Zenno and Gypsey Warning Group 1 winners and now as you say he has only improved the other two.He had a good base to work from having been David Paynes assistant for many years.

Polzeath was a float to be retired on a farm.
Someone persuaded the owner to send it to Duncan. The owner heeded the advice, asked the driver to turn around and head for Ashburton.

The rest is history. This is the fourth win and a placing since joining Duncan.
Duncan is one of the best in KZN. Humble and unassuming.

May he go from strength to strength.

Ownership of both Zenno and Gypsey Warning have changed with Zenno now in America i think,Zenno was sold for a hefty price and Gypsey Warning ,the major share was sold to Team Valor also for a hefty price and moved to Ferraris.

White house was congratulating the two trainers not knocking the the trainers.
