Flamingo Park Monday

Don't normally follow, Monday is a rest day!
However I see Nicola Welch has a few good mounts and so does Andrew Fortune.
I wish her all the best on Fun to Fly, its 5/10 and I see the punters are looking for an even 10K.
Cross Your Heart for Andrew is 7/10 with 8/10 on offer.
Good punting!

My fancy today is for the young T. Appie to have his best day yet ... riding the last double. Oh Neils and Gold Streak... usual disclaimers apply.

Hello Scotia,
Elvis has NOT left the building - he is still very much here. Young Elvis's FIRST DOUBLE in one day. This hopefully will boost her confidence.
I have not seen that last win, but heard the commentary. By all accounts it seems like she was squeezed in between Gunther & Andrew.... two of the strongest riders at the business end of the race.
Can anyone comment.......... did she perhaps outride these two top jocks ? Please let me know.
Elvis snr. will be having a few JWBlue tonight.

Scotia,
that ride on Zanzabee was more commendable than I originally thought. In the last 150m or so ZANZABEE was struck on the HEAD with the whip ( at least 3 -4 times )from ANDREW FORTUNE, who was on the HOT favourite.
It shows you how desperate some jocks can be to win at ALL COSTS. I wonder if there will be anything in the stipes report.
Oom Spies certainy praised Nicci on a good ride here, & YES SHE DID CERTAINLY OUTRIDE ANREW -3rd & Gunther 2nd, & she was carrying 2nd top weight of 57.5 kgs !

I watched the replays - Very good ride by Nicci on Zanzabee - congratulations on the double - say Elvis why did Oom Tobie refer to her as 'Naughty Nicci'?

It was an excellent and particularly well judged ride on Zanzabee. Cool as a cucumber under somewhat intimidating circumstances.
