Been waiting for this 1 to pop, ignore last run, think it will go well tonight at a decent price.

Not to put you off, southpaw, but he has never won over 1400, and is a full 6 kg's out at the weights with Sahara - place chance?

My concern With Sahara is that she looked a cert last time as well and got beat. 1400m may be 200m too short, but that said I can't find an alternative banker option.

I agree that Sahara is beatable (she has never won on this course or over this distance) and certainly Magic's concern is well founded. Obvious danger in my book is Lord of the Sea, and I see that Vaughn Marshall's runners have been in top form in KZN, so Captain in Command can surprise as well.
Still, can't see Sahara missing a place

Sahara has twice run 2nd in Graded races at Greyville so she seems ok on the course, but both were over 1600m and she was doing her best work late. Course should be running quick tonite after a dry sunny week. Can she get going in time? Red Flyer can front run and conceivably pinch it.

South - Red Flyer is a beaut, I've also been waiting and watching but he's still on the big side. Definitely slimmed down since that last Scottsville run but nowhere near how he looks at peak. I would say fire next time but he probably won't see a beatable field until season is over and the competition comes down a notch.
