Brents weekend!

Hi Everyone,

I missed the opportunity to send out golf bets this week but the men tipped in my preview are going ok (so far) and if a certain David Frost arrives at 250/1 I think a certain bookmaker will ban me for life!

It looks like it is going to have to be soccer this weekend and being a glutton for punishment I am looking to the final week of PSL action.

My best bet is Supersport to beat Santos at 13/10.

Supersport are a classy team and Santos have generally struggled on the road so I was surprised by the price (they are as short as 8/10 elsewhere) and on that basis am going to get involved.

BEST BET
3 units Supersport at 13/10 with Sportsbet

On the value front it is hard to believe Ajax are 5/2 to beat Sundowns in Cape Town. Yes the Brazilians won at home in midweek but Ajax have not lost in front of their own fans since April 2007 and must be full of confidence after their Telkom Cup win. They may not win it but in my view the betting is wrong and a fair sized bet is suggested.

3 units Ajax at 5/2 with Sportsbet

Make sure to catch tomorrows radio show (ch 169 DSTV Audio or 1485AM Radio Today at 07h30) for betting updates on the golf and a look at the weekends soccer.

I will also be on Neil’s Betting World show tonight and I think the first airing is after the last race (ch 232 Telly Track) with repeats throughout the night.

Have a good weekend and some good reads on Sportingweb including the PSL and Premier League previews as well as Chris Sturdy’s weekly piece where he has a light hearted look at the Sam Allardyce appointment and tips a total goals bet in his first match in charge.
