3 questions from todays racing

What happened in race 2. Two horses with incorrect ID books and the scratching of an odd on favourite.
Race 5 Elevated TC02 scratching. Another fav goes bye bye. Are trainers getting caught out when races are delayed or is just random issues raising their TC02 levels before the race.
Race 8 The rule that allows jockeys to run across other horses needs to be addressed. Just seems unfair. The winner and second place jockeys cut off the 4th place horse and yet punters and owners have no recourse.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) PHIL THE FLUTER was selected for the taking of specimens for TCO2 testing. The first specimen
revealed a level of over 36 TCO2 mmol/L. Trainer R Klaasen was advised that, in terms of the Procedure
for Total Carbon Dioxide (TCO2) analysis on Raceday, a second blood specimen would be collected.
Trainer R Klaasen was informed that the second blood specimen had revealed a level above the threshold
of 38 mmol/L and that consequently PHIL THE FLUTER was scratched from this race in terms of the
provisions of Rules 72.1.23; 4.2.14 and 4.2.18 (Withdrawn at 13H30, 9/4 in the betting). PHIL THE
FLUTER was

As a punter for more than 5 decades I an say that I have really lost all enjoyment in South African racing. There is so much inconsistencies .... in betting, in form, in NHA behavior .... something is rotten in the state of SA racing.

If it was not for the Punters Challenge I probably would not even have a punt.

The rule that allows jocks to run across others is only applied to gavin lerena. He does it time and time again and no punishment. Any other jock gets wrapped over the knuckles. Read in the stipes report from Friday that an appie was fined for lifting his crop over his shoulder, yet gavin does it in every race. There is no consistency among the NHA. Is it a racial thing, or just because gavin is the boss?

Manwatweet it is unfortunate because it should be fair for everyone. If u do wrong you must get punished. I mean as I said above time and time again he beats the horse to a pulp, but today on b fifty two not even trying. But he won't get called in for that. Anyone else will.
