Apologies from Scotia at ABC ๐
9 months 2 weeks ago
Good morning, everyone, as we look forward to another weekend.
I understand that sometimes my Scottish humour can upset certain groups and individuals.
I apologise if Zuma, Putin, or any other politicians have been offended by my politically incorrect comments. This includes other politicians and certain individuals who seem to get away with actions that should have consequences.
I advocate for the return of the death penalty, though I understand this might be offensive to serial rapists and child killers who blame their unacceptable behaviour on medical or mental conditions.
I recently watched the funeral of one of the young girls who was tragically stabbed to death in the UK. It was absolutely heartbreaking ๐.
On the punting and racing front, weโve enjoyed top-class racing from York over the last few days. City of Troy proved heโs a perfect 10, and the OโBrien and Moore combination continues to break records at the highest level.
Today, we still have the Ebor, with a 10/1 field where my fancy is Naqeeb, each way. Audience is the best bet for the Rab Havlin/Gosden combination.
The St Leger on 14th September is shaping up to be an OโBrien quartet, and the Moore selection will be interesting.
Looking ahead to the Melbourne Cup on 5th November, an early prediction is that OโBrien and Moore ๐ could also win the race that stops a nation.
On the local front, we have Turffontein on Saturday and Scottsville on Sunday. There are a few hot favourites, and Gavin Lerena is riding well. We also await the return of Richard Fourieโevens could be very generous if he delivers even 50% of last year's effort. It could also be a battle between Justin (weather permitting) and Sean in the training ranks.
For the Summer Cup, with R6 million up for grabs, we look forward to what should be a very interesting ante-post market.
In the USA, itโs evens between Donald and Kamala; the razzmatazz and build-up to this event are insane ๐ณ.
Iโll leave you with a final apology from a senior Scottish lawmaker, and I hope we never lose our sense of humour during these politically correct times.
Good punting! ๐
I am also in favour of using tasers to combat crowd riots, as they are perfectly safe ๐ย

I won a bicycle race over the weekend on a motorbike. I told them that my motorbike identifies as a bicycle.

Leftists try to normalise the perverse and pervert the normal...
Just last week my daughter comes home and informs me that a new female student, who had been previously home schooled, is joining grade 10 and "identifies" as a boy...so, her friends and her are walking on egg-shells for fear of saying something not politically correct and being labelled a whole host of epithets for perceived aggression...they have been cowered into saying nothing...
My advice was to walk away...leftists want to enforce / normalise their delusions onto others but don't respect people wanting to ignore their delusions...
A world gone mad...

Itโs amazing how someone can twist a situation to make themselves look like the victim while proudly flaunting their ignorance. Your โadviceโ to your daughter wasnโt about protecting herโit was about reinforcing your own narrow-minded views. Instead of teaching her to show empathy, youโve chosen to raise her on a diet of fear and intolerance, wrapped in a false sense of superiority.ย
The real world isnโt going madโit's just evolving past outdated, hateful ideologies like yours. You think walking away from a kid who's just trying to live authentically makes you the hero in this story? Newsflash: It makes you the villain. In a few years, when your daughter realises how much love, understanding, and growth she missed out on because of your "advice," she might just walk away from you, too.

@EquinePedigrees...no one has compelled you to read my posts and neither are you obliged to respond to them...we will raise our child as we deem proper and you have the same right with your child/ren...I wish you well...you seem to take offence on behalf of others...classic virtue signalling...that is your choice and I choose to have no further interactions with you...

IMHO you are born human and male or female and nothing else, no matter what you think. The world has become far too politically correct at the expense of common sense. Another observation of mine is that the vast majority of these "Woke" idiots are fat, ugly or both! Just attention seekers for the lack of having anything else.ย

I am probably old fashioned and old school ๐ซย
I certainly don't have the vocabulary to match above posts but basically if my son told me he would rather have a fanny ๐ ๐ค I would probably start with giving him a good kick in the balls before therapy...
