Will the favorites oblige today - let's see - thoughts ....
R1: Tarry first-timer supported, I'm forever looking for value and I think Smashing will put her poor last run behind her and win
R2: Bob imo moderate, and comparing his form with So Seductive is like chalk and cheese - so imo the filly a good bet even at odds-on
R3: Siberian Steel overdue for next win and should be right there again; Articuno an interesting entry - does get 3 kgs from SS and an effortless Maiden win (has to be said a weak field) - previous form good and could be anything and does seem the stable elect; Joker Man just had to turn up to win his Maiden and has a stand-side draw, but I think needs to go some to beat SS and A
R4: Zeus the obvious one - but due to his effortless last win is very short in the market; if he fails, any of the others bar Out of Your League could upset
R5: Competitive F&M Handicap - the 2 standouts are Lady Fallon and Sukhumvit who looks to have plenty of potential and is well weighted; Cape Lights consistent form and with Elembee could also be right there; if the 2 standouts don't bring their best, safer to take the field in the P6 imo
R6: Gimme A Nother looks to extend her winning streak to 5 and bar a widish draw looks a fair bet again; if she fails, Silver Sanctuary looks the main danger and not a lot between White Pearl, Egyptian Mau and Let's Go Now
R7: Sandringham Summit needs to put his shenanigans behind him - if he does, he probably is the best horse in the race, but was beaten by Purple Pitcher and Gimmeanotherchance last time (of course had many excuses); William Iron Arm finding plenty of support in the market - on form does not merit to be in the same race as the other 3, but it would be stupid to ignore him in light of the market support
R8: Prep run for many, so it may be wise to side with the fittest ones suited to the trip; Unzen from a good draw does seem the right one over 1400; Tulip Tree does look better 1600 and up, but is finding market support, while imo Humdinger is ideally suited to 1400, is best weighted and I definitely will be including her in everything
R9: Not an easy race to finish, Mighty Goddess could follow up, while Courageous might be worth another chance after a slightly disappointing effort last time, but this could be true for many others (including October Fair) and I am including Woodland Glade who probably needed her last run, has come down in the ratings and seems the stable elect
Enjoy

Fancy Joker Man in the 3rd
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
