.....the connections really rate Mexican Pete and said he was being aimed at the Dingaans .....and this trainer knows how to travel horses..... as when he was with Brown Jnr they had a longshot winner on Summer Cup day in the year that Dancewiththedevil won.....I punted their horse at 20/1 ......but missed the P6 leaving out Dancewiththedevil...........but don't know what to ,make of Mexican Pete as the ped pic does not indicate that it is anything special.....however have for many years been watching this trainer and his master before him never really stepping them out 1st time up and even better horses given a look see and only afterwards putting their heads down....so when support came for this on debut knew that it was already showing something way above average....it duly obliged and then followed up so this should be indeed one to follow.....

Can't really find any spooks to disrupt the "match" race 🤔

Gimmeanotherchance should run 3rd or 4th so Quartet will be field for either 3rd or 4th and float Gimme for 3rd and 4th .Hit it many times :)

.....far too early to predict and those 2 will be too restrictive for us R20 punters.....besides it still comes to draws and race day conditions..... as the heavens are known to open up around that time of the year.....the more I strip down Mexican Pete's ped the more I am drawn to him.....forgot to mention that he is related to Met winner La Fabulous and that the breeders had plenty to say about this foundation dam's pedigree which has as yet eclipsed that performance..... but still it all depends how he travels and when arrives up at altitude.....his last win on grass was very clumsy and now has reeled off 3 wins while is still only learning how to race and was far from being fully tuned up.... a fine looking specimen and should the penny drop come race day.....possibly be in the fray....;)

In SP it says that Main Defender won't run as result of being drawn 20 - Sandringham also not drawn that great at 13 - so who knows - Guy Gibson has not been too far behind them and should improve over the 1600 - so probably has an each-way chance with Purple Pitcher
