Seeing these colors remind me of how many trainers thought they had it made in the shade by having this "owner" support their yard.
Some even went as far as not giving punters stable comments because the "owners" had the right to the info.
Then the begging bowls came out after all hit the fan.

The top sprinter Nhlavini won his Maiden at the Vaal at 50 to 1 in those infamous colours.

If anyone can find the photo finish where Oracy "just got up" in a Feature race, when to many he got beat. The result was official, don't think many saw the photo finish if there was one.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

1 year 7 months agoDon’t have the photo but I recall the race, Gauteng Guineas thrilling finish. The judge was very quick to declare the winner, but took a lot longer to with the placings. Eventually a dead heat was declared for 2nd. I also felt it suspicious at the time.If anyone can find the photo finish where Oracy "just got up" in a Feature race, when to many he got beat.
