***Pls note , today’s race meeting (09/05/23) on the Vaal main track has been moved to the Vaal Classic Track *

After a further 4mm amount rainfall in the last 24 hours and a total of 40.5mm amount of rainfall in the last 7 days the Vaal Main Track track has surface water in certain areas and is unsafe for racing.

However after gallops were performed this morning on the Vaal Classic Track , it was unanimous that the conditions of the the track are soft but raceable.

Updated Track report will be sent out by 8:30am.

Voluntary scratchings will be permitted until 8:15am.

Distance changes as follows :
Races 8,9+10 will now be run over 1450m.

All other distances remain as is.

Race times remain as carded.

Clearly no one else feels that Bling should swing for his ride on 1st race favourite, or wonders how Tony Peter once again improves a horse beyond any reasonable possibility....
