All 7 of De Melos rides must have a chance of winning
Climate control 52 KGS must be very lively in race 6.
MDK could win 4 races but his yard is like a poorly tuned ford capri at the moment.

A real trappy card imo - thoughts .... last week draws around the turn was a significant factor ....
R1: Gimmeanotherchance ran 5 lengths off Lucky Lad who won again since and on that looks the one to beat - but the price is skinny imo; I think Brotherhoodofmagic from pole position represents each-way value (weighted to turn around the form with French Impact - who has a double figure draw in any case); I also think Shampimpi made a good debut behind Red Hot Rose (who probably improved a lot when fitted with blinkers in the Fillies Nursery last week-end) and should be right there at the finish; Captain Wara also made an encouraging debut, but has a wide draw, while Dreamland seems to have raced against weaker
R2: Woodland Glade a half-sister to Shantastic and Waterberry Hill - may need further but has a fair draw and seemingly the opposition does not seem that strong, so can easily pull it off; only opposition on form seems to be Sugary Sweet who finished a short-head behind Shampimpi - being by an Al Mufti mare she should improve more this trip; That's My Baby disappointed on debut when finding market support, so may improve
R3: Some guesswork involved here; the two runners (Just Var and Mocha Frappa) that made fair debuts are both drawn a bit wide, so maybe the first-timers My Soul Mate and Rugger Bugger could make them run - watch the market closer to race time; Princeofgreen would be my idea of value at current odds
R4: Debutant King of the Seas priced up at evens - even though the stable comment says it has been 'green at home' - so who knows; seems to be facing a very moderate lot, so again the market closer to race time may give a better idea; Efficient Trader has had a disappointing effort after being massacred in a work-riders race, so could be worth another chance from a good draw
R5: Another trappy Maiden; Poursomesugaronme likely to put her last poor effort when racing without blinkers behind her - goes around the turn for the first time though but has pole position and de Melo rides, so surely has to go close; Someday Maybe just about won her last race (still not sure how the judges saw that), but that field imo not that strong, so may have to settle for 2nd here; United Ransom seems to be getting fitter and could get away from a good draw
R6: Very competitive and as per the Computaform analyst 'of the 7 runners carded, 6 have equally the same chance of success'; take your pick
for what it's worth I think Flashy Apache is the right one
R7: Pashasha the one to beat at the weights - has a wide draw, but hopefully Muzi can get in to race close to the pace; Midnight Crystal and Winning Queen held by P at the weights, but have drawn better so it could get close; a roughie that caught my eye is Cerulean Blue - 3rd run after a break with a big rating drop and the apprentice also claiming 2kg - at the odds worth including imo
R8: Not easy; all the runners towards the top of the boards need consideration; Khumalo is taking the ride on Never to Clever, so that probably needs inclusion as well; while imo the best roughie is Funky Music - back from KZN, good draw and rating is steadily dropping; watch the betting on Libeccio - Lerena is riding and may be his turn today after the stable mate was supported to win last week
Enjoy
