There are quite a few well bred first timers in the 3 juvenile races, which together with the going makes it tricky.
Race 1 Musical Arts good debut and the one to beat. Strata and Nile the Boss fair runs.
Race 2.Quick Trip very good run in strong company last time and should win. Flying V improved run last time.
Race 3 Bohemian Grove, captain Arrow and Silver Crown have all shown ability. Speed Racer fair debut and should improve.
Race 4 Only 5 runners, and any of them could win. preference for Master Redoute and Silver Darling.
Race 5. Very competitive, with a preference for Hunting Trip even though stable jockey is not on.
Race 6. I have Major Winter in a weak and open race. Paper Trail and Liketheclappers look the best two, but a tricky race. If our boy puts his mind to it, he could cause a shock, but he has been shirking it and running way below what he showed earlier in his career. Hope springs eternal, but this is his last chance to show something.
race 7 Competitive handicap, but I liked the way Swift Action improved last time, so will be with him again despite the 5lb raise.
Race 8 Again very competitive- I like Veldskoen and Wyag.
